The grebes have babies at the refuges!

Writer: Dick CohenDick Cohen

Each spring/summer lots of grebes nest in pond 2 at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. This summer is no exception. Clark's, Westerns and Pied billed grebes can all be seen there with babies, sometimes being carried around on their backs. Worth a visit, they grow up very quickly!
