Just wanted to give everyone the news that the Friends received its IRS letter today stipulating our status as a 501C3. This means we can officially take donations and donors can deduct those funds on their tax returns.
We are still working on formal out reach and fundraising plans, and are also speaking with refuge management about specific projects where the Friends can make a meaningful and immediate impact. Stay tuned for details...and for where you can send donations!
